The bronze statue of the legendary millowner and philanthropist stands in the grounds of the larger of his two, now redundant churches, All Souls. It was made by J S Philip soon after Akroyd's death, and is grade 2 listed (list entry 1133905). This is one of the side panels showing him overseeing construction workers, and includes some lovely detail (remember this is where they call a spade a spade). See Image for context.
