Headstone of Sidney KEEBLE

Sidney KEEBLE was one of the railwaymen killed in the Cromer Express disaster at Colchester Station on July 12th 1913 when the express from London ran into the back of a shunting engine at high speed. Sidney was the fireman of the Cromer Express, George Burdett, the guard died at the scene. William Barnard, the driver and son of John Barnard of Westerfield explosion fame, died in his way to hospital.
