The board is on Stewarts Drive, a public road, at its junction with Dukes Drive, a road in Burnham Beeches closed to motor vehicles but open to cyclists and walkers. The board has the arms of the City of London which bought the woods in 1880 and preserves them for the enjoyment of the public and wildlife.
