As you ride into Todmorden station from the east (from Halifax or wherever) you will see on your left side this view of the tower of St Mary's Church and the impressive scenery behind it. It's actually a bit better than this picture because unfortunately this was taken from the platform on the other side. It's a friendly welcome to this interesting and friendly town.
