This patch of formerly overgrown land at the bottom of the Rec is being restored to chalk grassland with native shrubs, wildflowers and grasses by a group of local volunteers. It was once a sewage works for a caravan park. Link: http://www.oliversbatterycountrysidegroup.org.uk
