This has recently become a Shepherd Neame house. The sign is in the current house style, and a little unusually shows a fairly accurate depiction of the actual inn - see Image . The pond, however, is not so dangerously close to the front door as suggested here. There is an access road and an outdoor seating lawn intervening.
