Common Twayblade

(Neottia ovata; formerly Listera ovata) These plants were at the edge of the woods just to the north of the path that is shown in Image; that is, the woods that are to the left of the path in that picture. Sadly, as a later picture taken from the same place reveals, those woods are gone, and hence so are the Twayblades that grew there: Image
