We look across the main hub of Redhill Park Homes, with Reception building, noticeboard and car park. The driveway to here, is mapped a public right of way, a byway open to all traffic (or B.O.A.T.) number O18, and continues possibly to the right of the home behind the tree. The right of way does not seem to have any apparent function as a through route - however, a look at the historical map shows us that it comes to an end at the original main course of the river (with a ford marked on the map). The original course of the river is still evident on the modern-day map because the borough boundary follows that course.
