The memorial is an airscrew recovered from a Blenheim 3800 which was shot down over Aalborg, Denmark while flying a mission out of Watton on 13th August 1940. It was erected in memory of Royal Air Force and Commonwealth Air Forces who lost their lives while serving at RAF Watton and MoD Bodney
