To a building site on the corner of Elwick and Station Roads, where planning permission has been granted by Ashford Borough Council under application number 11/00757/AS for “amended plans for the demolition of existing buildings and structures, construction of new college buildings (class D1) provision of new access road, on-site parking and servicing, associated hard and soft landscaping and boundary treatment works, reduction in height of existing retaining wall on Station Road, alterations to site levels and other associated minor works”. The location given was South Kent College of Technology, Elwick Road, which can be seen in Image, where it is identified as being the building nearest to the camera. The other building, seen here, is 1-2, Elwick Road, which doesn’t appear to be in use.
