Compared with Image, a new road has now been laid into the site. Planning permission has been granted by Ashford Borough Council under application number 14/00362/AS for the “erection of 27 dwellings with access from Churchfield Way, together with associated parking, landscaping and open space”. The development is to be known as Downs View. To the left of the building site are, what I presume to be, parked school buses, which would need to use this road to reach Churchfield Way.
