I'm not convinced that the colourful sight of these red, white and blue barriers are adequate compensation for the disruption caused by whatever they are digging the street up for this time, but no doubt something will have been improved by the time they have finished. Meantime the barriers make a photogenic contrast with the grey stone terraces.
