Looking west from just next to the Image where according to Bournemouth Borough Council's definitive map, another public footpath, numbered E51, should pass. There is the tiniest clearing in the undergrowth which could be evidence of a former path but it is certainly not navigable. The end of the supposed path, ahead of us, is Image However, see Image for a picture at the end behind us - for more discussion on the path, a neighbouring path which may have superseded it in practice, and links to further pictures which illustrate the positions of the paths through the open space.
