Mitchell Way, and the Spitfire replica, commemorate R J Mitchell who designed the plane. The Way is the only route in and out of Southampton Airport. The blue building in the background is a large Royal Mail depot. (Moiré fringing is unfortunately apparent on the louvres of this building)
