As indicated on the 1:25000 map, the path shown in Image makes a left turn to follow the edge of the woods, before curving right to approach a ford. The start of that curve can be seen ahead, where the track enters the woods; see Image, taken from not far ahead. The woods in the left background are at the northern edge of the Kilmahew Estate.
