Jubilee House, on Salford Crescent, was designed and constructed in 1897 by Henry Lord (who also built Image] opposite); it was built to celebrate Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee. Previously a nurses’ home for Image], it has housed the Working Class Movement Library (WCML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_Class_Movement_Library ) since 1987.
