Wing Tunnel, on the line from Corby to Manton over Welland Viaduct, passes directly under the road junction. Preston Road lies to the left and Station Road is straight ahead. The station in question is Manton station which was at the junction of this line and the one from Stamford. Manton station closed to passengers in 1966.
