This photo, taken in Penn Street churchyard, shows the nearside grave of Ellen Wilkinson (1891-1947) who was a British Labour politician for the unemployed during the Depression (1929-1939), served in the World War II coalition government and was Education Minister from 1945 until her death in February 1947. The further grave is that of Ada Laura Hadfield who passed away on the 20th December 1942 aged 58 years.
