This lane, which is also public footpath no. C02, runs along the western edge of the Lower Gardens and comes out ahead just short of the Pier Approach (see Image]). A short distance behind us, traffic is prevented from coming any further along here, although it is only authorised traffic, such as the Borough's Parks vans, that are allowed at all.
