Grand Central is the shopping centre built on and around the revamped New Street railway station. Midland Metro have decided to name the tram stop Grand Central. It is seen here a few days after it opened on the 30th May 2016. This platform is used for journeys in the direction of Wolverhampton. Passengers for New Street station are dropped off on the station side of the road. The next extension in that direction will be to Centenary Square.
