The Adelphi Mill was formerly a silk mill but has now been converted to offices and a pub. Silk was once a main industry in the area and the mill, built by the side of the canal, is an example of how the Macclesfield Canal brought prosperity to Bollington, Macclesfield, and other places along its line.
