This house in Church Lane was occupied by my great-grandparents over the period from the 1880s to the 1930s when it was known simply as "the Cottage". After that time, it became the Rectory, moving from what is now known as the Glebe House. About the 1970s, this house in its turn has become the "Old Rectory". Much of the original large garden has been sold off for further housing.
