Checkpoint 8A is the baggage stop on the 2016 Dorset 100 mile walk. At 60 miles into the nonstop event the 500 walkers and runners have their bags waiting for them so they can have a change of cloths if they wish, before walking a couple of hundred yards to checkpoint 8B and a full cooked breakfast. The first people will cover the 60 miles in under 12 hours while for some it will take around 26 hours. The 100 mile route must be walked within the 48 hour time limit.
