The building dates from the 17th century and was refaced around 1830. During the 18th century it was an inn called the Swan. Now three separate business premises; number 46 on the right is a pet shop, 48 is a fishmonger and 50 a butcher selling local produce reared on the Knepp Farm estate just south of Horsham.
