All Saints Church is a rebuild by Somers Clarke in 1872 - all that remains of the previous building is the tower, dated to the 14th or 15th centuries. It was Grade II listed on 25th February 1949. Buried in the churchyard is James Eaton, the officer who was with Nelson in 1805 at Trafalgar (pronounced Traffle-gar) and who was the first to pass on Nelson's message that 'England expects that every man will do his duty'.
