Overleigh Cemetery from River Lane

This is the lower entrance to the old Overleigh Cemetery, from River Lane. The cemetery was opened in 1850 and, according to the Chester City Council website, used to have two chapels, two lodges, and a house for the chaplain. All these buildings have since been demolished.
