This is built into a wall opposite to the cross. It belongs to Cross House Farm, which was built in 1601. I have been informed that it was brought here from the Bradford slaughter house in Hammerton Street by a previous owner who had a shop and wholesale business there. There is a similar one from the same source outside Cliff Hollins Farm.
