The Voodoo head shop at 7A The Parade sells substances often referred to as Legal Highs. The phrase Head Shop was first used in the late 1960s in North America, coined from a lyric in the Jefferson Airplane song White Rabbit, the last line of which is Feed your Head. This was commonly misinterpreted to mean "get high and expand your consciousness". So the hippies, druggies and potheads used it to describe tobacco shops that sold the paraphernalia with which to smoke pot, so that others would know where to get their supplies from.
