Taken in Wells Road W12 8DA, this photo shows the Bus Garage now owned by London United although previously owned by London Transport. In the mid-1960s, it had about 60 vehicles allocated to it, but this has now increased to about 130 vehicles. Routes 72, 94, 148, 272, 419 and C1 are worked from this bus garage during the daytime whilst routes 72, 94, N97, 148 and 220 operate during the night, making it a 24/7 bus garage. To the left of the photo can be seen green RT 3491 (LYR 910) an AEC Regent III dating from the early 1950s, giving tours of the local surroundings for visitors to the Open Day at this garage.
