Grimsby supporters on Olympic Way. A ticket got you a seat for two matches today. I was returning from the Vase final and passed Grimsby and Halifax supporters on their way to the FA Trophy Final. Halifax won 1-0, not a good day for favourites playing in black and white. An interesting police operation - change over in what was supposed to be two games by relatively minor sides, but ended up with (newcos allowing) two former Football League sides and one actual Football League side being at Wembley at the same time. Police presence was slight before the Vase final, but very powerful at this time.
