A number of graves in this cemetery are those of former army officers. There are also memorials to sons and husbands who lost their lives in two world wars, including members of the RFC and the RAF. There is also the grave of a young 3rd Ulster Defence Regt soldier, (aged 21), killed by terrorist action in 1980.
