The miscreant within has probably done his time and more. He seems to have expired some while ago and may be starting to mummify. Note the strings round his trouser-legs, designed to stop rodents shinning up to attack his nether regions. The old lad isn't listed but the bench upon which he is resting is mentioned in the relevant listing https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1053497
