The Art Deco headquarters of the Daily Echo (then the Evening Echo) were the paper's first purpose built offices and it was on the night of 13-14 January 1934 that they moved in. The newspaper was printed and distributed from here until the early 21st century when production was transferred to its parent company's plant in Southampton.
