A dignified late Georgian town house, dated 1814, of three storeys and bays. Arched ground-floor windows set in blind arches. A good cast-iron overthrow and lampholder has survived (Image]). Grade II listed. It served as a police station from the 1830s until the 1960s. Now converted to offices and known as William Gaitskell House.
