The post mill at Chinnor was later supplemented by a steam mill. The engine and boiler were in the area behind the brick wall while the mill was the white building by the road. The mill house is to the left. The post mill has been relocated across the road and is being rebuilt while the steam mill is now a dwelling. The steam mill is believed to date from c1887 and by 1929 was using an oil engine. I have yet to discover when it went out of production.
