The memorial bears 5 names of men from Brockley who died fighting in The Great War 1914 - 1918. One man was lost in WW2 although he has no memorial. He was, Gordon Douglas GOOCH, a Corporal, No. 5830375 of the 2nd Battalion, Cambridgeshire Regt. He was killed age 23 on the 28/01/1942.
