The largest practice which occupied the health centre next door (and possibly the largest in Huddersfield) moved into these larger premises around 2002-03. The chemist whose shop has been taken over by Renji Chinese medical practice have relocated to the new health centre. This is new centre is built on the corner of the Fartown Cricket Ground which was used for county matches over twenty years and more ago, and may have used land which belonged to the cricket ground.
