87027 'Wolf of Badenoch' approaches Apsley at speed from the south. The force of the air is pushing the multiple working cable on the front of the loco to the left. The class 87's were a mainstay of Euston express trains from their introduction in 1973 until the late 1990's. They are now all withdrawn and 2 have recently been sold to a company in Bulgaria.
