The former Duchy of Cornwall land has been turned into 27 holes of challenging golf. The Par 72 Duchy Course was opened in 1995 and offers a variety of parkland and lakeland golf holes. Measuring 6700 yards from the blue tees and 5900 from the yellow tees, the course is intended for golfers of all abilities. There are undulating U.S.G.A. specification greens. Practice facilities include a large putting green, extensive chipping green with practice bunkers, a 16 bay covered floodlit driving range with power tees, 6 grass bays and a 300 yard long practice ground.
