Unnamed Stream - Decoy Brook

This stream rises from Sandy Heath where the sand meets the clay. It passes through a series of ponds on the Hampstead Heath Extension. Here it is seen entering a culvert under the footpath. It is joined by another stream further north which cuts across the extension towards Hampstead Way. The two become Decoy Brook and pass below ground through Golders Green and flow into the River Brent near the junction of Brent Street with the A406.
