This old blackhouse in Lower Bayble (Pabail Iaraich) has had its traditional thatch replaced by corrugated iron and has obviously not been used as a dwelling for many years. This view looks south-west from the road through the village, and on a clear day such as this was, the hazy outline of the hills of Wester Ross on the mainland can be made out on the horizon.
