Confluence of the Rivers Roeburn and Hindburn

At Wray. The smaller of the two rivers, on the left, is the Roeburn. On 8th August 1967, in a violent thunderstorm when up to 4 inches of rain fell in a half an hour, the Roeburn flooded causing devastation to Wray village. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
