According to the school's website, "We are a brand new school in South Leeds, opening our doors to our wonderful children and families in September 2015 for the very first time." It will be a two-form entry primary school (nursery to age 11). The school is sited on the site of the former Beeston Broncos sports ground Image and before that, just behind the new buildings was the site of St Cuthbert's church (demolished 1964).
