Looking north from close to Welland Village Hall. Garratt Bank is an east-west ridge with a scattering of houses along it. After years of topping up the field just over the road with landfill we now have a useful sports field and small car park on what was the land reserved for the poor of the parish in the 1851 Welland Inclosure Act.
