The car park is a linear one, about 300m long but only wide enough for one row of vehicles each side. It occupies the site of former housing between Burley Road and Denison Street, demolished probably soon after WW2. Parking charges as of 2016 were from £1.00 for 2 hours on a weekend, to £6.20 for all day midweek. Only free on bank holidays.
