A hotel and seafood restaurant with a splendid view across the Firth of Lorn. The original building(s) comprised the two 'pepper-pots' used by the pier master in the 19th century. It became a hotel in 1992 with further additions in keeping with the original style of building - see http://www.pierhousehotel.co.uk/about/the-pierhouse/history.html for more on its history.
