Spon Lane Locks

There are three Spon Lane Locks on the short stretch of canal that connects Spon Lane Junction on the Birmingham Canal Navigations (BCN) Old Main Line with Bromford Junction on the BCN New Main Line. The latter continues at the lower level as far as Tipton where the three Factory Locks raise it up to meet the former and they become one canal again on to Wolverhampton.
