An excellent mid-Georgian town house, built c1777 for a merchant, Ralph Dodsworth, possibly to the designs of John Carr. The main departure from the Georgian norm, the full-width pediment, was not, however, a motif closely associated with Carr. The doorcase is suitably grand (Image]). Grade II* listed.
