This plaque on the gatepost reads "St Agnes Lodge. This late medieval manor house (with its raised cruck roof) was adapted to its present form in the late 17th century when the unusual round windows (possibly to reflect those of the Chapter House) were inserted and the rear wing was added. Ripon Civic Society." See Image]
