The tower however is not quite what it appears to be. Although it may at first seem to belong to a chapel, at least from a distance, the looks of this building > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4896622 are deliberately deceiving. The tower was added to a corner of what used to be the standby generator house serving the radar station at nearby RAF Neatishead in order to make it look less obviously military.
